Imrie Park

    Campground & Day Use

    Located about 5 miles east of Onoway on the shores of Devil's Lake just south of Highway 37 on Range Road 15, Imrie Park is a 216 acre park with groomed trails and natural habitat viewing area as well as camping, day use and group use facilities. Currently there are 18 camping spots, a cookhouse, an enclosed picnic shelter, and a day use area. 

    Reservations open January 1 of each year. 

    Our Camping season is from May 1 - September 30.

    History

    Marie Louise Imrie donated this land in 1989 to Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation. The foundation put in a new playground in November 2011. Onoway Fish & Game manages this facility on behalf of the Foundation.

    Amenities

    • There is a camp host in attendance from May to October. Reservations are required for campsites.
    • Fires are allowed in designated fire pits and camp stoves only.
    • Dogs are permitted in camping areas and hiking trails but must be leashed at all times. Please respect our visitors and clean up after your pets.
    • The park gate is closed to day use visitors at 10:00 pm which is the start of quiet time for all campsites.
    • Off highway vehicles are not to be operated within the campgrounds or park at any time.
    • Stay on designated trails and do not disturb, damage or destroy plants or wildlife.
